Recent Boots Buys

Hi and welcome back! So today I'm going to show you all what I've got recently from Boots as I have been there a few times recently and got some new products!
My recent Boots buys

Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour Kit

Seventeen - Define and Conquer Contour Kit - £5.99

I am a big fan of contouring. However, I have been looking for a kit which had both a good contour colour and a good highlighter. A few of my friends who have this kit don't use the highlighter because they don't like it but I am a big fan of this highlighter. It doesn't have any shimmer to it which I quite like as it's rare to find a drugstore highlighter that isn't shimmery. I also like the contour powder but you do not need to apply much if you have a paler skin tone like me as it is quite dark.  The kit also comes with a mirror which is very handy. I bought this for £5.99- http://www.boots.com/en/SEVENTEEN-Define-Conquer-Contour-Kit_1538986/ .

Seventeen Cheek Stamp Blush

Seventeen - Cheek Stamp Blush - £4.99

I got this free with the Contour Kit and I was actually surprised. I think the 'stamp' idea of the product is great and very unique. In the lid of the product is the blush itself and you use the stamp to apply it to your cheeks. It's very pigmented and easy to blend after being stamped. This also comes with a mirror on the outside of the packaging and it comes in a variety of colours. Mine is in the shade 'blushin' which is a very pink colour. I got mine for free however they usually cost £4.99-  http://www.boots.com/en/SEVENTEEN-Cheek-Stamp-Blush_1436061/ .

Real Techniques Blush Brush

Real Techniques - Blush Brush - £.9.99

I own a few Real Techniques Brushed and decided as I have a few blushes now, it would be worth getting a good brush to apply it with. It is so soft and does a great job with my blush. The brush was £9.99 but Boots currently have a 'Buy 1 get 1 half price' deal on Real Technique brushes so I would definitely check that out- http://www.boots.com/en/Real-Techniques-Blush-Brush-1407_1252046/ .

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer

Maybelline - Baby Skin Primer - £7.99

I only bought this product a few days ago and I already love it. It's an amazing primer and keeps your make up on all day but also looks great on its own. It's clear and makes you skin so smooth and does a great job at reducing the visibility of pores. I would definitely recommend this primer to anyone looking for a new primer to try. This cost £7.99- http://www.boots.com/en/Maybelline-New-York-Baby-Skin-Instant-Pore-Eraser-Lightweight-Primer_1416202/

So that is what I have got from Boots in the past week! I hope you enjoyed (sorry it was short!) and I'll see you next time!

Thanks for reading and see you soon! Molly:)

My Soap&Glory Make Up Products: Collab with B1standBeautyy

Hi and welcome back! Today whilst in Boots, a shop I go to very often (maybe a bit too often...), I discovered that they had a 3 for 2 deal on Soap&Glory make up products. After seeing this offer I decided to treat myself and add 3 more products to my Soap&Glory make up collection, bringing it to a grand total of 5 (which isn't really that grand).

So in today's post I will be telling you a little about all my S&G make up. This is a collaboration with B1tsandBeautyy and she will be talking about her Rimmel product collection so be sure to check out her blog as I will link it at the end along with all the products I mention on this post.

Kick Ass Concealer- Light
Kick Ass Concealer -A Three-Piece Flaw Camouflage Kit
I bought this concealer today as part of the 3 for 2 deal and I'm already glad I got it. This product comes with everything you need to conceal spots, redness, under eyes or whatever you need concealer for. It comes with two different concealers on the bottom layer, a pink toned one and a yellow toned one, so one is great for under eyes and the other redness/spots. There is also a small mirror on the bottom side of the lift up section of the packaging. On the top of the lift up part is a translucent powder to set the concealer and it comes with a pad (I don't know what these are called?!) to apply the powder. I think to get all of this in one product is amazing! I got mine in the shade light.

Sexy Mother Pucker- Charm Offensive
Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Lacquer -High Shine Gloss
I got this in a box set for Chistmas (along with a mascara I will mention later) which also had lots of their other non-make up products in which I may write a post about soon. Anyway, back to the lip lacquer. Usually, I don't like wearing lip gloss or lip lacquers. I find them sticky and annoying and prefer wearing lipsticks. However I found the Soap&Glory one to be a lot smoother, not at all annoying and also SO shiny and moisturising. There is a variety of colours that are all GORGEOUS but the one I have is in the shade Charm Offensive which is a pinky-nude colour.

Archery Eyebrow Tint and Pencil- Love is Blonde
Archery -Eyebrow Tint and Precision Pencil
I often struggle to find a product good for my eyebrows, both the type and the shade. I have quite 'full' and big eyebrows which I like, however they have some gaps which I struggle to find a good product to fill them in with and sometimes products can make my eyebrows look TOO big. However, today I bought this and finally found both a good shade and a great product to fill in my eyebrows. Not only has it filled the gaps in my eyebrows, it's filled a gap in my make up collection. What I love about this product is that not only does it have a pencil to shape the brow, it also has a pen-like eyebrow tint at the other end which is great for filling in gaps. Mine is in the shade Love is Blonde which is, as it says in the name, a blonde to medium-brown shade.

Glow All Out Luminizing Face Powder
Glow All Out -Luminizing Face Powder
I also got this today and I'm already loving it. If I were to describe this product, I would say it is a mixture between a blush and highlighter. Its a pinky-champagne colour and glows on the skin. It doesn't have glitter in, just gives a gorgeous subtle glow and not to mention how smooth it is. The powder is so creamy and silky and lasts a long time too. I think this powder would look great on the cheeks completing a fresh make up look. There is also a mirror inside which is great if you want it for your handbag.

Thick&Fast Super Volume Mascara
Thick&Fast -Super Volume Mascara
This is one of my favourite mascaras I own because it does exactly what it says it says about super volume. It makes your eyelashes look so much longer and fuller and because of the big brush, its so easy to get every lash. The big brush also means, as it says in the name of the product, it takes no time at all to achieve volumised lashes. The mascara also does a great job at separating the lashes and doesn't clump.

So this is my Soap&Glory make up collection! I love all the products I've tried so far and can't wait to try more. If you would like me to do the same kind of thing with another brand or with my non make up products from Soap&Glory, be sure to let me know either in the comments bellow or on Twitter and Instagram (both @makeupwmolly).

Review: In The Buff Eyeshadow Palette

Hi and welcome back to my blog! This is the first beauty-related post on my blog (my first post is an introduction to myself and my blog, check it out if you haven't already!) and it's a review of the War paint Cosmetics: In the Buff Eye Shadow Palette.

First of all -as you can probably see already- this is a dupe for the Naked Palettes by Urban Decay (in particularly the Naked 2). The colours in this palette and the Naked 2 are almost identical, they both have 12 shades however the names of these are different.
Colours from Left to Right:
Buff, Camel, Sand, Dust, Chocolate, Topaz, Earth, Storm, Silk, Wave, Thunder, Onyx.
The colours from the In the Buff Palette are very pigmented. There is a good variety of colours, the majority are shimmer shades but Buff, Chocolate and Onyx are matte shades. The colours are very long lasting and do not crease or move especially when used with a primer or base. I find they are very easy to blend and the colours go very nicely together but also with colours from other palettes.
The packaging is also good, but again very similar the Naked 2 and 3. It has a metal tin/casing but what's different is that the inside has a black rubber-type material that protects the eye shadows not plastic like most palettes.

However there was one minor disappointment with the brush. It has a very small brush at one end, which i tend to use to apply eyeshadow to the inner corner of the eye, but then a sponge applicator on the other end which I don't use. However, it is not that much of a bad thing as I already have brushes for eye shadow application.

But the price is amazing for the quality of the product. It varies from store to store but I bought mine for only £7 from Next however it is displayed as £9.99 on the War paint cosmetics website (I have seen a few on amazon for cheaper since then). This price is great compared the price of the Naked palettes- £38.

So that is my review of the In the Buff Palette! If you liked this post I will be doing more so you can follow me on here and on my new Instagram and Twitter accounts (both @makeupwmolly). But for now...
